Key Announcements

The final ASM Satellite Worksop took place in April 2022. Find out more information about this successful event here.

What is the ASM satellite workshop?

Annual Scientific Meetings (ASMs) are held within a One Health concept specifically showcasing the knowledge and scientific advances in Joint Research Projects and Joint Integrative activities.

Each ASM has a satellite workshop focusing on one of the priority areas for the OHEJP.

These are under six themes:

  • New and emerging diseases
  • Rapid and innovative diagnostics
  • Harmonisation and validation of diagnostics
  • Antimicrobial resistance
  • Molecular surveillance
  • Digital innovation

Who is the satellite workshop for?

These satellite workshops provide opportunities for post-doctoral researchers (priority for early career researchers, ECRs) to present a short talk and discuss state-of-the-art techniques. Invited speakers present longer talks on expert topics related to the sub-theme of the workshop.

The satellite workshop invites all audiences to attend who work in the area of One Health. Priority goes to those who are registered as members of one of the OHEJP partner institutes.
