Ciriac Charles doctorate celebration banner 2022

Congratulations to Dr Ciriac Charles who publicly defended his PhD viva last week!

For the last few years, Ciriac worked on the PEMbo PhD project that focused on better understanding the genetic evolution of Mycobacterium bovis causing bovine tuberculosis in France. His research has been based at ANSES – The French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety, and INRAE – National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment.

He has successfully demonstrated how the One Health approach can be used to address the zoonotic disease of bovine tuberculosis.

Thanks to his supervisory team for their support. The Consortium celebrates Ciriac’s research achievements for our doctoral programme.
