We are very excited to announce that the first One Health EJP CPD module is being organised by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) in the Netherlands. More information coming soon!


What is Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

CPD is the process of recording and reflecting on the skills, knowledge and experience you gain as you work. CPD includes formal and informal learning beyond any initial qualification or training you have undertaken.

Who is the CPD module for?

The CPD module is targeted at Early Career Researchers (<5 years post PhD) from across the One Health EJP partner network and industrial or commercial environments working in a relevant sector. However, applicants outside the OHEJP consortium can also register to attend subject to external registration fees.

The One Health EJP CPD curriculum

The CPD curriculum will have the following themes:

  • Outbreak preparedness
  • Rapid diagnostics and harmonisation of diagnostic tests
  • Big data- storage, analysis and interpretation including bioinformatics for genome sequencing
  • Digital innovation
  • Bonus theme *to be announced*

Key Dates and Location

The first One Health CPD module will be organised by RIVM in the Netherlands. The theme will be Outbreak Preparedness. More information will be available soon.
