WGS-based surveillance: a cog-wheel workshop to detect links and promote collaboration among OHEJP projects and external initiatives
September 16 @ 9:00 am - September 17 @ 5:00 pmFree
This workshop is a technical meeting for OHEJP members, and is intended to provide an opportunity for participants to explore the implementation of existing NGS bioinformatics platforms and resources (e.g. IRIDA, INNUENDO, COMPARE, GenEpiO, FoodOn etc) for One Health microbial pathogen surveillance and outbreak investigations. The workshop, comprising short presentations on key topics (data management, functionality, user support, best practices, ontologies) and software demonstrations, is designed to stimulate discussion and identify potential collaborations. While other workshops and conferences aim to explore the use and benefits of WGS, this workshop will focus on finding and sharing solutions to the technical challenges of implementing WGS.
The event will take place in conjunction with the IMMEM, at ADRIATIC LUXURY HOTELS | Dubrovnik | Croatia.
But it is open for those wishing to listen to presentations and discussions in the following link:
