Science to Policy Translation

The One Health EJP is organised into seven different Work Packages. Work Package 5: Science to Policy Translation curates the interaction with, and targeted dissemination of One Health EJP outcomes to stakeholders. Among a number of initiatives, WP5 drafts Thematic Reports on specific topics, and disseminates them to relevant stakeholders. WP5 also organises Dissemination Workshops targeted to policy and decision makers. Dissemination Workshops focus on the impact of One Health EJP-produced solutions, and how they benefit the prevention, detection, and response in One Health settings.

OHEJP Analysis of Outcomes - Version 1, November 2022

An objective of the One Health EJP is to ensure that the EJP main scientific outputs, protocols, databases, and other strategic integration activities will be sustainable beyond the lifetime of the project. To address this objective, WP7 worked together with WP1, WP3, WP4 and WP5 in collaboration with the project leaders, to produce a list of outcomes resulting from One Health EJP JIPs and JRPs that will address some of the needs of principal stakeholders, namely, ECDC, EFSA, DG-HEALTH and DG-AGRI. This list of outcomes describes protocols, databases and other tools and solutions expected to contribute to the work of not only the four named stakeholders, but also others. A shortened version of this list is available below, while the full list is available in part 3 of D7.1 Analysis of outcomes and uptake of EJP’s outputs by stakeholders.

Thematic Reports and Dissemination Workshops

Topics of the Thematic Reports and of Dissemination Workshops reflect specific needs of One Health EJP stakeholders.

The WP5 team also monitor the activities of stakeholders and report on these on a monthly basis to identify stakeholders’ needs, knowledge gaps, policy trends, new regulations, future risks etc. This may include press releases, publications and key information. These can be found here. *Please note you must be a OHEJP consortium member and logged into the website to access these documents*

The 4th One Health EJP Dissemination Workshop is now available as a series of pre-recorded webinars.
