The One Health EJP Final Report 2023 is now available on our website.

Although our innovative programme will end on 30th September 2023, our achievements will continue to influence One Health activities in Europe and more widely. Our Final Report acts as a One Health EJP legacy document to benefit future One Health initiatives and programmes at European and global levels.

Read our Final Report:

  • We celebrate over five years of our One Health achievements focused on antimicrobial resistance, emerging threats and foodborne zoonoses.
  • We highlight the One Health EJP research outcomes from 30 projects and 17 PhDs.
  • We demonstrate how European stakeholders across food safety, animal and public health sectors have applied our science to their work.
  • We explain the impact of our successful science to policy translation, education and training activities in Europe and globally.

It is expected that the uptake and application of One Health EJP tools and solutions will also have important scientific and policy impact beyond the end of the Programme, and for many years to come.

Thanks to all our partners and stakeholders for contributing to the success and sustainability of the One Health EJP! These include our 43 partners at food, veterinary and medical laboratories and institutes from across Europe and also the Med-Vet-Net Association. This organisation will maintain the One Health EJP website and resources from October 2023.

Thanks to our external stakeholder members for their valuable input to our programme: European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), European Medicines Agency (EMA), European Environment Agency (EEA), World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), World Health Organization (WHO) in Europe, The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and involvement from EU funded projects of Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR), EU-JAMRAI, Compare Europe and Effort Against Antimicrobial Resistance.
