University students and early career researchers with backgrounds in veterinary, medical and biological sciences (including environmental and food sciences) are invited to register for free to attend this training event. The Final School aims to communicate how our Consortium’s innovative outcomes can further advance One Health and considers different pathways to sustainability, including implementation.
We have 30 invited speakers from institutes across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil:
University of Surrey (UK), Animal and Plant Health Agency (UK), Sciensano (Belgium), Wageningen University & Research (the Netherlands), University of Galway (Republic of Ireland), The National Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology – INIA (Spain), Anses (France), The Australian National University, National Veterinary Institute – SVA (Sweden), Massey University (New Zealand), Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (UK), Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ (Brazil), German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment – BfR, European Food Safety Authority -EFSA, Norwegian Veterinary Institute and Statens Serum Institut (Denmark).
Their talks will be focused on innovation, commercialisation, collaboration, communication, policy to benefit One Health. A variety of One Health EJP members will discuss our education and research activities, with sessions on Short Term Missions, antimicrobial resistance, emerging disease threats and foodborne zoonoses. We look forward to providing a highly interactive online training experience!
