The One Health EJP Final Meeting starts today at the Ministry of Health in Paris, France. During the next two days, we will celebrate over five years of our successful European research, education, and training programme, prior its completion on 30th September 2023.

We are pleased to welcome a wide range of One Health EJP Consortium members and external stakeholders from across Europe to this final special event, as organised by the Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire – Anses.

Our welcoming address will be given by Agnès Firmin-Le Bodo, Minister Delegate for Territorial Organisation and Health Professions at the French Ministry for Health and Prevention and Benoît Vallet, Director General of Anses.

Our agenda for this event includes two sessions:

1) Retrospective of the One Health EJP: from the idea to the realisation.

2) Strengthening the One Health vision and prospective – The One Health EJP contribution to science, health policy and society.

We will highlight One Health EJP project outcomes in the fields of antimicrobial resistance, foodborne zoonoses and emerging threats. Key leaders will also explain the impact of out programme’s education, training, and science to policy translation activities. Our Consortium members and stakeholders will discuss the vision for the One Health EJP legacy, which will involve future assistance by the Med-Vet-Net Association to help ensure the sustainability of One Health EJP achievements.

We look forward to talks, presentations, testimonies and panel discussions by One Health EJP members, EU agency representatives from European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), European Environment Agency and other stakeholders, including the Med-Vet-Net Association and the World Health Organisation.
